BentaConnect, Inc. operates Rankboard and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. This policy applies to our websites, application, support, and related services.

We collect information you provide, information generated through use of the service, and information received from services you connect.

• Account data such as name, email, authentication method, and profile information.
• Billing and subscription records; payment-card details are handled by our payment provider.
• Workspace, website, keyword, content, publishing, and support data.
• Technical data such as IP address, device, browser, timestamps, diagnostics, and product interactions.
• Credentials or authorization tokens for integrations you choose to connect.

If you connect Shopify, Google, WordPress, or another platform, we process the identifiers, tokens, site data, and permissions needed to provide that integration. Sensitive integration credentials are restricted and, where supported by the integration, encrypted at rest. Disconnecting stops new access but does not automatically erase records we must retain.

We use information to provide and personalize Rankboard, authenticate users, process payments, generate and publish content, operate integrations, provide support, monitor reliability and usage, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with law, and improve our products.

Content and instructions may be sent to selected AI and research providers to perform requested features. Do not submit sensitive personal information that is not needed for the task. We configure providers and limit data according to our service needs, but their processing is also governed by our agreements with them.

We do not sell personal information. We share information with infrastructure, analytics, communications, payment, AI, research, and integration providers acting for us; with professional advisers; during a corporate transaction; when required by law; or with your direction and consent. We limit sharing to what is reasonably necessary.

We use essential cookies for login, security, and preferences. We may use PostHog or similar analytics to understand product use and diagnose issues, including session replay when enabled. Replay is configured to avoid intentionally capturing sensitive credential fields. Browser or network privacy tools may block non-essential analytics without preventing core account functions.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, secure transport, and encryption for designated secrets. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your password and connected accounts.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and security records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention varies by data type. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to backups and legal requirements.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent. You can edit account information or delete your account in the product, or contact us. We may verify your identity before responding and may retain information where law permits.

Rankboard and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers. Those countries may have different privacy laws from your location.

Rankboard is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child provided information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Rankboard uses automated processing to suggest keywords, research topics, generate drafts, and support workflows. These features do not make legal or similarly significant decisions about individuals. You control whether to use or publish generated outputs.

Our service may link to or integrate with third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and we are not responsible for services we do not control.

We may update this policy as Rankboard evolves. We will post the current version and update the date above. We may provide additional notice for material changes where required.
